Kitchen renovation

MH Developments fitted our new bathroom, oak & glass balustrades top and bottom of our stairs, internal oak doors and finishes throughout our home, loft hatch with ladder, new kitchen worktop, ceramic sink / tap, plastering and decorating.

Martin was excellent at providing advice and suggestions before and throughout the works. His team of various tradesmen were very professional and polite. They worked tirelessly ensuring Martin’s high standards were met at all times.

Martin visited regularly during the works, monitoring progress and checking in with us that everything was to our satisfaction. He kept us fully updated on areas where there were problems with the delivery of materials from suppliers due to COVID restrictions.

Martin also returned timeously after our works were completed to carry out some minor remedial works.

Karolina and Becca communicated regularly with us via phone and e mail. They were very helpful ensuring everything was to our satisfaction.

We are delighted with the finished work. We plan to have Martin carry out further work in our home. We would not hesitate to recommend this professional, high standards company to anyone considering home improvements.

Window and dormer refit

“We had an attic conversion completed 10 years ago by another contractor (also on trusted trader) and have been plagued with a persistant water leak for the last 7 of those years. Eventually we were left with no option but to have the main dormer stripped of it’s cladding for investigation as no other measure had resolved the leaks.

Martin and his team took on this work at very short notice, were able to talk me through the deficiencies in the work previously carried out when the dormer was constructed by the previous contractor. The windows had not been fitted correctly, no damp proof course, no external breather paper on the dormer and no vapour barrier present either allowing water to get behind the cladding system and track its way down the OSB boarding into the roof space below, damaging our ceilings.

Martin and his team had the windows removed and refitted correctly within a day and they returned to strip the cheeks of the dormer, fit the correct breather papers externally and re-clad the dormer properly.

The works were finished to a high standard and after a good few blasts of wind and rain when the leaks previously manifested, no further rainwater has tracked its way into our property.

We very much appreciated Martins honesty and knowledge when assessing the problem, which gave us comfort that finally, after 7 years our problem would be resolved.”

I recently employed MH Developments to fit a new bathroom. I found Martin and his workmen very professional and polite. Each day they arrived they tidied up after themselves. There was a delay with the work but as soon as work started again they endeavoured to get the work completed as quickly as possible. Professional en-suite upgrade

M H Developments did an excellent job renovating our en-suite. The job was completed within estimate and in the time stated with Martin putting in very long hours to ensure there was no delay. As soon as they started they put down protective sheets and cleaned up before leaving each day. There were a few minor issues but these were resolved in a timely manner to our satisfaction.

Not the cheapest of our quotes but good value for money with Martin and his team providing a professional installation service and customer support. I would highly recommend both Martin and Karolina, who worked on the administration and customer support side, and will definitely be using them again in the near future.

MH Developments recently fitted our new kitchen including a new floor, and we are delighted with the work. Martin and his team are so friendly & hard working, and made the whole process easy for us. They are very reliable, and tidy up after themselves, which was much appreciated. Martin also arranged for a plumber, an electrician, a tiler, and a painter to come out to do various jobs in the kitchen, and they were all a pleasure to deal with. It’s great having one person who co-ordinates all the different jobs required. The quality of their work is excellent, and our new kitchen looks fantastic. Garage and wet room

The garage was converted to wet room and bedroom. This was carried efficiently and within the estimated time period. My wife made several last minute changes which MH Developments managed to adapt into the build.
